Dr. Deepsekhar Das is a dynamic ophthalmologist currently working as a consultant at ASG Eye Hospitals, Kolkata. He is graduated from Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital in 2014 and joined Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi in 2015 where he completed his Junior as well as Senior Residency in Ophthalmology. He cleared FICO Examination and DNB Ophthalmology examination in 2021.
He has awarded Membership of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) in the same year. He has performed numerous cataract surgeries and is experienced in both phacoemulsification procedures as well as small Incision Cataract surgeries. He specializes in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-Ophthalmology. He is also well versed in orbital tumors, ocular oncology, dactylology, Anophthalmic socket and eyelid abnormalities. He has performed various types of strabismus surgeries and oculoplasty procedures. He is an ardent researcher and has more than 50 publications in indexed journals and has authored many chapters. He has represented AIIMS in many International and National Conferences.
