Dr Lopamudra Majumder has 19 years of experience in ophthalmology. After completing her MBBS she has done DO and then MS in ophthalmology. She did two years Senior Residency in Sri Sankardeva Nethralaya. She did her Phaco training and Oculoplastic training in HV Desai, Pune. She worked as eye surgeon in Greater Lions Eye hospital and MGM medical college. She was instrumental in forming North Bengal Eye Institute as a Consultant Ophthalmologist. She has two scientific paper publications in index journal. In 2020 she joined ASG Hospital Siliguri. Her field of work include cataract surgery and wide range of Oculoplastic surgeries.

She is a member of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS), The Oculoplastic association of India (OPAI) and ophthalmological society of West Bengal (OSWB)
