He has worked as Chief Eye Surgeon at Lions Netralaya, Siliguri, being pioneer in upgrading Cataract standard in North Bengal area from Aphakia to Pseudophakia, then again from Mics with Phaco ( Micro incision cataract surgeries with Phacoemulsification )
