Dr. Kazi specializes in Vitreoretinal surgeries, which primarily involve therapeutic surgeries as well as retinal lasers and intravitreal injections.
He performs complex retinal surgeries. These surgeries include retinal detachment surgery, surgery for macular hole and vitreomacular traction syndrome, Epiretinal membrane peeling, vitrectomy for vitreous hemorrhage, tractional retinal detachment, dropped lens, dropped IOL, and secondary IOL. He also manages cases of endophthalmitis with medical and surgical therapy. He also performs retinal laser for proliferative diabetic retinopathy, barrage laser for retinal breaks and lattice degeneration, ROP laser and focal laser for conditions like Central serous chorioretinopathy. He also manages cases of diabetic retinopathy with intravitreal injections, laser and vitreoretinal surgery in advanced cases.
