About DR. AKHILESH KUMAR

Dr. Akhilesh did his MBBS from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College Nagpur and post-graduation from Gandhi Medical College Bhopal. After graduating in ophthalmology he has done his fellowship in Anterior segment and phacoemulsification. There after he joined Dada Virendrapuri Ji Eye Institute as a consultant in 2021. Dr. Akhilesh is well versed with phacoemulsification and premium IOL surgeries. He has performed 15000+ cataract surgeries including advanced phaco and micro phaco. He is also an expert of medical retina and has vast experience of treating diabetic retinopathy and other retinal problems. He is instrumental in presenting several research papers at state and national conferences.
