Dr. Vasanth is a graduate and post graduate from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. He has served onboard frontline naval destroyers and was commended twice while in active service in the Armed Forces. A University ranker in his M.S. (Ophthal) examination and recipient of Chief of Army Staff Medal in the Armed Forces Grading examination, he has a vast experience of over 26 years after post-graduation.
A recognized post graduate teacher for MS and DOMS from Mumbai University, he has presented several papers at conferences and performed live surgeries, demonstrating modern surgical techniques in front of his peers.An expert and prolific surgeon, he has vast experience in complicated cataract, toric and multifocal IOLs, ICL, glaucoma and ocular surface surgeries.
