Dr. Rajkishori Rana is a highly accomplished medical professional, having successfully completed her MBBS from the Government Medical College and Hospital, Goa University. Subsequently, she pursued her DNB in Ophthalmology at Shri Ganpati Netralaya, Jalna, Maharashtra, followed by a fellowship in Vitreoretina and Uveitis at Netradhama Superspeciality Hospital, Bangalore. Her dedication to specialization led her to undertake a fellowship in Uveitis, Medical Retina, and Research at the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute. Further enhancing her skills, she pursued a Surgical Retina and ROP fellowship at the same institution.
Dr. Rana's professional journey includes serving as a full-time Retina Consultant at the renowned Sankara Eye Hospital in Orissa. She also held the position of Full-Time Vitreoretina Consultant at Nirmal Eye Institute, Rishikesh, and provided dedicated care to patients in Prayagraj at Sharp Sight Eye Hospital before joining our esteemed team.
Driven by a passion for research, Dr. Rana has contributed significantly to the field, with several articles published in international journals. Her involvement in various research activities at LV Prasad Eye Institute, particularly in ocular inflammation (uveitis), underscores her commitment to advancing the understanding and treatment of ocular tuberculosis.
Dr. Rana brings extensive expertise to the diagnosis and management of a spectrum of retinal conditions, including Retinal Detachment, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Pathologies, and Age-Related Macular Degeneration. Actively engaged in the screening and management of Retinopathy of Prematurity in newborns, she has demonstrated a holistic approach to patient care.
