Dr Saurabh Shah is a consultant Phaco – Refractive surgeon with working experience of 8 years in the same field. He has completed his medical training (MBBS) from SMIMER medical College, Surat and a Master’s degree in Ophthalmology (MS) from MUHS, Nashik.

He had undergone Cataract Training Program at Rotary Eye Institute, Navsari and Advanced Phaco Program at renowned institute H.V. Desai eye hospital, Pune. He had undergone a long-term fellowship in Comprehensive Ophthalmology at Drashti Netralaya, Gujarat.

He has attended various surgical Hands-on courses conducted by different institutes (LVPEI, SN, HV Desai) all over India and he has also presented papers and posters in various state and national conferences (AIOS, MOSCON, GOS)

This Journey allowed him to engage deeply with patient care, education and research – managing challenging cases, performing hundreds of successful eye surgeries & procedures, teaching residents and trainees as well as conducting retrospective and prospective clinical studies… He is expert in various types of Cataract , complicated cataracts, small pupil, mature hard cataract along with a vast experience of Premium Intraocular lens Implantations .(Trifocal, Multifocals, EDoF, TORIC IOLs). He has performed more than 8000 Cataract surgeries, majority of which are topical phacoemulsification.

As an Ophthalmologist, my professional aim is to provide Best and Latest vision care with concern and compassion to needy irrespective of his/her being rich or poor with a prime priority on safety and well-being of the individual.
