She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Akola (Maharashtra) and her MS in Ophthalmology from MGM Medical College, Indore. She then pursued a specialized Fellowship in Clinical Vitreo Retina from Shri Ganpati Netralaya, Jalna (Maharashtra).
