He has completed his MBBS from College of Medicine and Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hospital, Kalyani, Nadia, and post-graduation from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata.
He has done his senior residency in the Department of Cornea at Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata.
His areas of interest include cornea, cataract including phacoemulsification, keratoplasty, and other ocular surface disorders.
He believes in staying up-to-date with recent advances in the field of ophthalmology for the benefit of patients. He has attended various National and State Conferences and presented there. He is a member of AIOS and OSWB.
