Dr. Akshay Kumar is a highly skilled and compassionate ophthalmologist with over 6 years of experience in advanced eye care and surgery. He earned his MBBS from the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, followed by an MS (Ophthalmology) from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College and Guru Nanak Eye Centre, New Delhi.

Specializing in Cataract Surgery, including Robotic (Femto) Cataract Surgery, Micro-Incision Cataract Surgery (MICS), Premium IOLs, Phakic IOL Surgery, and Medical Retina, Dr. Akshay has successfully performed over 5,000 phacoemulsification surgeries.

He is also adept in managing glaucoma patients and stays updated with the latest medical and surgical techniques. Known for his patient-focused and results-driven approach, Dr. Akshay has mentored many young ophthalmologists in Phacoemulsification and Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) techniques.
