About Dr. Deepti Yadav
Dr. Deepti Yadav is a highly skilled ophthalmologist with specialized expertise in Phacoemulsification and Refractive Surgery. She has been serving as a consultant at ASG Eye Hospitals in Jodhpur, India, since October 2024. Before joining ASG Eye Hospitals, Dr. Yadav completed a Fellowship in Phacoemulsification and Refractive Surgery at the same institution, further honing her surgical skills from October 2022 to September 2024.
Dr. Deepti Yadav earned her MBBS degree from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, and subsequently completed a Master of Surgery (MS) in Ophthalmology from BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur. She went to finish a three-year Senior Residency at the renowned Advanced Eye Center, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, from January 2018 to January 2021. During this period, she gained extensive experience in both surgical and non-surgical management of a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, with a particular focus on glaucoma.
Her passion for cataract and refractive surgery led Dr. Deepti Yadav to pursue specialized training in Phacoemulsification at PBMA’s H. V. Desai Eye Hospital in Pune in April 2022. This advanced training further enhanced her skills in cataract surgery, allowing her to achieve optimal patient outcomes through innovative techniques and precision in surgery.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Deepti Yadav is a committed academician and researcher. She has authored 13 research papers published in respected national and international ophthalmology journals. Dr. Deepti Yadav has also presented her research at numerous prestigious ophthalmology conferences. A notable achievement was her presentation of the paper titled “B-Scan Ultrasonography Before Surgery in Eyes with Dense Cataracts” at the Annual Conference of the UP State Ophthalmological Society in November 2016, where she was honoured with a Silver Medal for her exceptional presentation.
