Dr. Jayshree Mandal completed her MBBS from Government Medical College (Bankura Sammilani Medical College, West Bengal) in 2012. She passed her DNB Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna in 2017. She served as a Senior Resident at S.S.K.M. Hospital (IPGMER, Kolkata) in 2018. From 2019 to 2022, she pursued her fellowship in Anterior Segment and Cataract from Sagarmatha Chowdhary Eye Hospital, Lahan, Nepal.
She has a research thesis on “Comparative evaluation of VEP, OCT, and HFA 24-2 in the diagnosis of Glaucoma suspect.”
Dr. Jayshree Mandal has performed over 8000 cataract surgeries and is a competent and skilled surgeon with a very sound clinical knowledge. She is proficient in performing Phacoemulsification, MICS, SICS, including complicated cases, Pterygium excision with conjunctival autografting, DCT, Conjunctival mass excisions, intravitreal injections, and managing ocular trauma cases.
