About Dr. Himanshu Shekhar

Dr. Himanshu Shekhar is the Chief Strategy and Clinical Officer of our Company. He is also the chief executive officer of ASG India Oculus Private Limited, one of our Company’s  100% owned subsidiaries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from the Nilratan Sircar Medical College, Kolkata, India and a Doctor of Medicine in ophthalmology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He has also been conferred the diplomate of the national board in ophthalmology. He is registered with the West Bengal Medical Council since May 4, 2005. He has been associated with our Company since August 31, 2013. He leads strategic planning and clinical excellence, aligning business growth with patient care outcomes, oversees treatment protocols, and drives innovation in ophthalmic services.

He is responsible for ensuring quality standards, regulatory compliance, and expansion initiatives while integrating clinical expertise with long-term organizational strategy. He has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector. He is the recipient of the best senior resident 2012-2013 award by the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, Ophthalmic Research Association, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
