Senior and most experienced Eye Surgeon of Siliguri. He has completed his MBBS in 1981 and MS in Ophthalmology in 1987 from Medical College, Rohtak, Haryana. Trained in Phaco Cataract Surgery at National Eye Institute, Pune. He has worked as Chief Eye Surgeon at Lions Netralaya, Siliguri, being pioneer in upgrading Cataract standard in North Bengal area from Aphakia to Pseudophakia, then again from Mics with Phaco ( Micro incision cataract surgeries with Phacoemulsification )
Gained experience in various anterior segment eye surgery, lacrimal surgery and squint surgeries in more than 30 years of Ophthalmology career, have done more than 25000 Cataract operations.
