Dr. Anant Prakash Tripathi is a highly experienced Cataract and Glaucoma Specialist with expertise in advanced cataract surgery, glaucoma diagnosis, and the surgical management of complex glaucoma cases. With training from some of India’s leading eye institutes, he is dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centric eye care using the latest surgical techniques and technology.
He completed his MBBS from Army College of Medical Sciences, followed by MS (Ophthalmology) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (ABVIMS), New Delhi. He further pursued a prestigious Glaucoma Fellowship from Dr. Shroff Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi, along with a Fellowship from Orbis International (USA) and a Short-Term Fellowship in Medical Retina from Shroff Charity Eye Hospital.
With extensive surgical experience, Dr. Tripathi has successfully performed 5,000+ minimally invasive cataract surgeries and 300+ glaucoma surgeries, including complex glaucoma procedures. He is among the few ophthalmic surgeons in Uttarakhand proficient in Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) and advanced tube implant surgeries such as Ahmed Glaucoma Valve (AGV) and Aurolab Aqueous Drainage Implant (AADI).
Apart from clinical excellence, Dr. Tripathi actively contributes to ophthalmic research, academics, and community eye care initiatives. He has authored multiple research publications and contributed a book chapter on Angle Closure Glaucoma in an international publication.
