Dr. Ayan Kundu

Dr. Ayan Kundu currently serves as a distinguished consultant at ASG Eye Hospital, B.T. Road, Kolkata – 700058. He earned his MBBS degree from Medical College, Kolkata, followed by a Diploma in Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Medical College, Kolkata. His advanced training further includes a post-diploma DNB from Sankara Nethralaya, Kolkata.
He completed his Senior Residency in the Department of Ophthalmology at Gopiballavpur M/SSH, Jhargram.
Prior to his current role, he practiced as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Disha Eye Hospital.
His areas of interest are diverse, encompassing Cataract, including Phacoemulsification, Glaucoma, and Medical Retina. Additionally, he holds a keen interest and extensive experience in treating Computer Vision Syndrome, Dry Eye Disease, and other Ocular Surface Disorders.
Dr. Kundu holds the prestigious distinction of being a Senior Scholar and Member of JBNSTS, a fellowship bestowed upon individuals of exceptional scientific aptitude. Furthermore, he is a Life Member of NAMS, AIOS, OSWB, and YOSI, actively participating in and contributing to state and national ophthalmology conferences. His unwavering commitment to continuing medical education ensures his practice consistently integrates the latest advancements in ophthalmic research and technology.
