Dr. Kusumitha B is an expert ophthalmologist whose mission is to provide the best of eye care with latest technology to the new era patients with care and compassion. Her Expertise are cornea & external eye diseases, phacoemulsification using Premium intra ocular lenses, paediatric cataract surgery, femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery, corneal transplant surgery including lamellar corneal surgery, ocular surface procedures, SLET, CLET, COMET, Amniotic Membrane/ Mucous member grafts and refractive surgery including LASIK, ICL, and Bioptics. Additionally, she has experience in managing ocular oncology lesions, especially retinoblastoma and choroidal melanoma.
Having many years of experience, she has conducted and chaired several workshops talking about different aspects of phacoemulsification, cornea, refractive surgery evaluation and Ocular Oncology.
Dr. Kusumitha B has presented multiple research papers and academic activities at difference places and societies at national and international conferences.
She received Best Senior Resident award in cornea and Eye banking services at Dr.R.P.Centre, AIIMS New Delhi.
