About Dr. Shobhit Varma

Dr. Shobhit Varma is a consultant Ophthalmologist with working experience of 8 years in
the same field. He completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore after
which he pursued a Diploma in Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology,
RIMS, Ranchi.

Following this, he underwent 2 years of DNB residency training in the prestigious LV Prasad
Eye Institute, Hyderabad where he gained experience in cataract surgery and
comprehensive ophthalmology. He was posted as a junior consultant in secondary centers
of LVPEI during the tenure. He was awarded the 2 nd prize by the all-India ophthalmological
society in the all-India PG thesis competition.
